Transference and countertransference feelings in group provide powerful information about a member’s history as it reveals itself in the immediacy of the group. Repetitions occur in group and offer opportunities for studying and understanding each member’s history and unmet needs, allowing for attuned interventions that promote maturation and development. This workshop will explore types of transference, countertransference, repetition, and resistance and their usefulness in group.
